About Us
The Quinault Housing Authority manages 128 units in the villages of Taholah, Queets, and Qui-nai-elt Village that were developed with 1937 Housing Act, Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) and Low Income Tax Credit funding. To qualify for these programs, families must be Native Americans with an annual income that does not exceed 80% of the median family income level.
All housing assistance provided by the QHA is subject to federal income guidelines (see income limits below).

Moderate-income families may be eligible for various programs, however, are not able to receive the same benefits as low-income families. Various eligibility requirements apply to each program, please talk to housing staff for more information.

Oversight
The QHA is overseen by the BOC that is appointed by the QIN Business Committee. The QIN Business Committee adopted Title 80, which is tribal law governing how QHA and the Board is operated. Title 80 delegates certain powers to the Board and the QHA informing us how to use those powers.
