Environmental Quality Section

The Environmental Quality Section combines 4 Programs within EP: Water Quality, Invasive Species, Air Quality and Wetlands.

The majority of funding from these programs is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through base funding and competitive grants. Other sources of funding for these programs are provided by the Washington State Salmon Recovery Funding board, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Each of these programs are critical in protecting the communities, natural resources, and treaty rights within the reservation and within Quinault’s U&A.
