Mission Objectives:

  1. Acquire, organize and protect a collection representing the material cultural heritage of the Nation’s people.
  2. Preserve and protect the continuity of the Nation’s traditional subsistence and ceremonial activities.
  3. Acquire, organize and make available important documents (books and other papers, maps, photographs, sound and film recordings) that illuminate the history and culture of the Nation’s people.
  4. Train Tribal members to become museum and library professionals.

Donations and Loans:

The Quinault Museum kindly accepts donations and items on loan. For more information contact the Museum Manager, Leilani Chubby, at (360) 276-8211 ext 245.

Items of interest would be collections that have to do with the people of the North West Coast; Quinault, Queets, Hoh, Quileute.

  1. Develop and maintain a program that ensures that the Nation’s cultural resources are managed with vision, leadership, care and responsibility.
  2. Assure compliance with applicable federal status and tribal ordinances.
  3. Train tribal members to become cultural resource management professionals.
